Subway Nutrition Calculator
Subway is one of the few takeaways where the calorie count depends almost entirely on decisions you make at the counter. The bread, the cheese and the sauce move the total more than the filling does, which makes a published figure for a plain sub only half the answer.
This calculator uses Subway's official UK nutrition data. Add whatever you are actually ordering, a sub plus a side plus a drink, and watch the calories, salt and protein add up against the daily reference intakes before you commit.

Subway Calories Table
The 30 highest calorie items on the UK menu, from Subway's official figures. Every column here holds real published data; nothing is estimated to fill a gap.

Subway Allergen Information
There is no allergen table on this page, and that is a deliberate choice rather than a gap. A Subway order is assembled to your instructions, so the allergens in it depend on the bread, the cheese and the sauces you pick. A table listing allergens against an item name would be wrong for most real orders, and being wrong about allergens is not a small error.
Subway UK publishes a full allergen chart covering every ingredient, including breads and sauces. Ask for it in store, check it on Subway's own site, or tell the person building your sub before they start. Our allergen guide explains how the chart is laid out and which choices change the answer most.
Subway Vegan and Vegetarian Menu
Every item Subway itself marks (Ve) or (VE) for vegan and (V) for vegetarian, plus the Veggie named items. Items without a marker are left out rather than guessed at.

Eating Healthy at Subway
The honest version is that Subway can be a genuinely light lunch or a heavy one, and the difference is rarely the filling. A Coca-Cola Zero 500ml at 2 kcal and a footlong with cheese and mayonnaise are the same shop. Salad, no cheese and a vinegar based dressing keeps a six inch well under 400 kcal; the same sub toasted with cheese and a creamy sauce can pass 600.
Salt deserves more attention than calories here. Cured meats and cheese carry most of it, and one six inch can use a third of the 6g daily reference intake before you add a side. If you are watching one number, watch that one, and use the calculator above on the whole meal rather than the sub alone.
Subway Nutrition Questions
Search or filter to the item you want, tap the plus button to add it, and the totals update as you go. Add a sub, a side and a drink to see what the whole meal comes to. The percentage bars compare your running total against UK reference intakes for an average adult, and Clear All empties the list.
Subway's official UK nutrition information. 72 of the 143 items on this site publish a full panel covering calories, fat, saturates, carbohydrate, sugars, fibre, protein and salt. A further 62 publish calories only, so those still count towards your calorie total but leave the other rows unchanged rather than guessing.
Coca-Cola Zero 500ml at 2 kcal, Coca-Cola Zero Cherry 500ml at 2 kcal, Diet Coke 500ml at 2 kcal sit at the bottom of the range. The table further down this page lists the lightest items across every category, and the calculator lets you build a full meal and check the total before you order.
Most six inch subs land between 300 and 500 kcal on the standard build, before extra cheese or sauces. Toasting adds nothing, but cheese and mayonnaise based sauces move the figure noticeably, which is what the calculator is for.
Tex Mexan Jacket Potato (32g), Big Breakwich Jacket Potato (32g), Chicken Tikka & Cheese Jacket Potato (32g) lead on protein. Chicken fillings generally beat the cured meats, and adding extra protein at the counter changes the panel figures shown here.
Double Chocolate Cookie (Ve) at 0.3g, Chocolate Chunk Cookie at 0.3g, White Chip Macadamia Nut Cookie at 0.4g are the lowest of the items with a published panel. Salt is worth watching at Subway: cured meats and cheese carry most of it, and a single six inch can use a third of the 6g daily reference intake.
Yes. Subway marks vegan items (Ve) or (VE) and vegetarian items (V) on its own menu, and the table on this page lists every marked item we hold data for: 6 vegan and 7 vegetarian. Anything not carrying a marker is not listed here, because guessing at it would be worse than leaving it out.
UK reference intakes use 2,000 kcal for an average adult woman and 2,500 for an average adult man, which is where the percentages on this page come from. They are a labelling reference rather than a personal target, so treat them as a rough guide.
No, and deliberately so. Subway UK publishes allergens in a separate chart that changes with bread, cheese and sauce choices, so a table here could be wrong for the sub you actually order. Check the allergen guide in store or on Subway's own site, and tell the staff before ordering if you have an allergy.
